Ahead of Armed Forces Day on Saturday, the soldiers at Fort Drum revealed an inside look of their daily routine.

They wake up at 5:30 a.m. to get ready for one of the most important parts of their day — physical training. This helps them mentally and physically prepare for combat.

Col. Jason Williams, the DIVARTY commander, said they do this for the community.

"Just how committed these soldiers are, how much work they put in every day to prepare for combat, to prepare for their mission, how committed they are to the Army, how commited they are to the nation, how committed they are to this community," Williams said.

You can show your support on Saturday in Watertown at the Armed Forces Day Parade.

It begins on Washington Street at 10 a.m.
