Some routes are changing as part of a new Reimagine RTS schedule that will run 30 routes, seven days a week.

On-demand service will be introduced in seven parts of the county, including the city of Rochester, Webster, Brockport and the Eastview Mall.

Smaller vehicles will respond to on-demand calls, which RTS leadership acknowledges will require a bit of a learning curve.

"So it's changed, but you need to look at the whole system," said RTS CEO Bill Carpenter. "It's more frequent, it's more reliable, it's better connected. We expect our customers to be frustrated. It's brand new. And for some customers, it's going to work every differently."

You'll still be able to pay in cash or by card or smart phone.
