ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Dozens of more jobs are coming to Rochester Transit Service.

That announcement came from Senator Chuck Schumer on Wednesday.

He said a combination of funding from a number of recent stimulus bills will help create another 46 union positions.

The senator said the jobs will be in support of the RTS system redesign that will start next month.

Schumer said RTS already employs more than 900 people.
