Drivers traveling through Rochester's southwest side will be impacted by construction closures.
The state Department of Transportation says the exit and entrance ramps connecting State Route 383 (Scottsville Road) and Interstate 390 northbound in the town of Chili will be closed from Tuesday, May 28, to Wednesday, June 19, due to an ongoing construction project.
A detour will be posted, however, the DOT says drivers should anticipate delays and are advised to find an alternate route.
Officials are also reminding everyone to drive responsibly in work zones to protect the safety of workers. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone and two or more work zone speeding convictions could result in license suspensions.
