The Rochester Greek Festival kicked off on Thursday.
The festival is held on the grounds of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on East Avenue.
Over the next few days, you can try some of the most popular Greek dishes like gyros, souvlaki, spanakopita and lamb shank dinners. You can also visit the Taverna to enjoy a bottle of imported Greek beer or a glass of Greek wine.
Guests can check out the Agora to experience shopping in a Greek marketplace full of clothing, jewelry, books and more. There is even a kiddie village with a variety of activities for children.
And of course, it wouldn't be a proper Greek festival without plenty of music and dancing.
The festival is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
