ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Geva Theatre has announced the lineup for its 49th season. It will be its last season with Artistic Director Mark Cuddy after 27 years.
Due to scheduling issues caused by the pandemic, the season will run from January to July.
Geva fans can look forward to the following productions for 2022:
- "Airness"
- "Constellations"
- "How to Catch Creation"
- "Somewhere Over the Border"
- "The Chinese Lady"
- "Yoga Play"
- "Where We Belong"
- "Sister Act"
“Our 49th Season captures everything that is theatrically meaningful to me: humor, adventure, topicality, music, new writing, deep relationships, and the opportunity for virtuosic acting,” said Geva Artistic Director Mark Cuddy. “For my farewell as artistic director, I couldn’t be prouder of what audiences will experience at the conclusion of my tenure.”

All guests will have to show proof of vaccination starting this fall with "Vietgone," Geva's final production for its extended 2021 season.
