GREECE, N.Y. — The Town of Greece announced Monday afternoon that its 4th of July festivities will proceed next month.

Last year's event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents can expect a 5K race, food trucks, fireworks and a performance by Nik and the Nice Guys.

“As restriction continue loosening, my team and I are working around the clock to bring back beloved Town of Greece events to our residents” Supervisor Reilich said in a statement. “The Town of Greece Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration is our most popular event and draws thousands of people each year, so I am extra excited to bring back this particular event this summer! More information regarding the Town of Greece Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration will be provided over the next several weeks. Keep tuned in to my Facebook page - Bill Reilich Greece Town Supervisor, and the Town of Greece website for more information."
