ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Of all the lessons in Mr. Zarkhi’s sixth-grade class, one is the most fun. Even if it comes after a rare Buffalo Bills loss.

“We are gonna relive through some of the not-so-positive moments of the game," said Zarkhi. "That’s how we grow. That’s how we progress. That’s how we get better.”

These Monday afternoon quarterbacks are members of Bills Nation. A lunch recess club at the Harley School that meets once a week. It's like a Bills mini-Mafia.

"So, I had this idea in my head," said student Aleksander Nthekentha. "My friend Noah was sitting at the other table and I just said, "do you want to get people together to try to start a club for the Bills? Because I think that would be pretty popular.'"

School administrators signed off on the idea.

About 15 weekly club members break down games, like the recent one against the New York Jets.

“I was watching it while doing homework, and I was just like, 'oh the Bills are easily going to win,'" said student Baylor Smith.

The kids have to do their homework.

“We have to research certain players," said Nthekentha. "Like for example, I just finished Thurman Thomas, and the time before I did Jordan Poyer.”

“Josh Allen, Diggs and Von Miller," said Smith. "And Ed Oliver because my dog’s name is Oliver.”

The day after games writing assignments cover the wins and the losses.

Whatever happened against the Jets, these kids say don’t blame Josh.

“He threw one interception in that game because Gabe Davis did the wrong route," said Smith.

One loss, to them, is just a bump in the road. One which these young fans "Billieve" only leads to the Super Bowl.

“Is that a question or is that a fact?" asked Smith. "It’s the Bills. It’s a fact.”
