Seth Voorhees has over two decades of journalistic experience under his belt. Believe it or not, Seth’s reporting career began in 1995 in the Spectrum News 1 Rochester newsroom. After 22 years, Seth moved west to report for NBC in Dallas. Just two years later, Seth returned to the Spectrum News team and is thrilled to be back in the place he has always called home.
A decorated reporter, Seth is the proud recipient of several awards. With ten New York Emmy awards and twelve Regional Murrow awards, it’s safe to say that Seth is an expert in his field. For Seth, each story he covers is just as meaningful as the next. More so, he loves having the ability to cover an important issue one day, and a heart-warming feature the next. An Upstate New York native, it’s no surprise that he also feels passionate about covering the unpredictable Rochester snowstorms each winter.
When Seth isn’t in the newsroom, you can find him catching up on the local Rochester food scene or relaxing while watching either a Red Wings or Amerks game on TV.
