The Rochester Red Wings say that Matthew LeCroy is returning for a season as manager.
LeCroy has won more than 870 games in Minor League Baseball and led the Wings to a 77-71 record last season.
He becomes the first Red Wings manager to spend five consecutive years in the position since legendary manager Joe Altobelli in the 1970s.
LeCroy became the 17th player to manage the Red Wings (full-time) after previously playing for Rochester and is 11th all-time in franchise history with 259 wins as the Red Wings manager.
The Red Wings kick off the 2025 season in Buffalo on March 28.
