Rochester's Isaiah Stewart has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft.
The former McQuaid star had a standout freshman season at the University of Washington. Stewart started all 32 games for the Huskies and was the team's top scorer, averaging 17 points a game.
Stewart is a projected first-round pick.
“It'll definitely be a dream come true but I feel like that will be when my dream will have begun. I definitely feel like from there it'll have to be hard work every day to continue to make it at that level. I just don't want to make it to the NBA. I wanna have a great career in the NBA. Win championships and be a culture guy and just build a legacy and stuff like that,” said Stewart.
The NBA Draft is still scheduled for late June.
