There is plenty of blue and gold pride at Webster Schroeder. Friday night's football game is under the lights against Fairport and its homecoming.

"Yes, its Friday Night Lights, football on Friday nights, there is nothing better in high school so of course, we are excited," said Head Coach Mike Stumpf. "We have a special day, shortened periods and a pep rally and then we are going to go out and play football tonight."

Travis Dear is a senior and the starting quarterback on the football team.

"Yeah, this is just great. It's a great time here at Webster Schroeder. You can really see the family atmosphere we have here," Dear said. "We are all one warrior together instead of the individual and I think that is important for our school and our football team. It is that family-type atmosphere."

The Warrior Crew is Schroeder's award-winning student section. They are decked out in blue and gold and cheer non-stop.

"It is about all coming together and supporting sports and music programs," said Jessalyn Willmott, a Webster Schroeder senior. "This is awesome; we have so many participants all coming together. The pep rally and all being 'One Webster' is awesome."

"Yes, so last night we had our homecoming dance and we had more than 400 people show up and that is one of the biggest attendance we had and that was on a school night," said Student Council President Max Parmele.
