UPDATE: Seth Larson was convicted by a Monroe County jury on Jan. 23, 2023 of second-degree murder, tampering with physical evidence, and concealment of a human corpse for the murder of his girlfriend, Lisa Shuler. He will be sentenced on March 2, 2023 in front of New York State Supreme Court Justice Doran.
IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — A Monroe County grand jury has handed up an indictment against the Irondequoit man accused of killing and dismembering his girlfriend's body earlier this year.
Seth Larson has been charged with second-degree murder, tampering with physical evidence and concealment of a human corpse.
Prosecutors say Larson killed Lisa Shuler. Police say her remains were found in the backyard of their Irondequoit home and in Durand Lake.
Larson was on the run but was eventually taken into custody in West Virginia.
