GATES, N.Y. — Gates Police arrested a parolee after he allegedly committed three bank robberies over the course of three days.

Officers say they responded around 11:15 a.m. Saturday for reports of a bank robbery at Key Bank on Spencerport Road. That is when they apprehended Terrance Blackman, 32 of Rochester, in a neighboring parking lot.

Police say they also found the stolen cash hidden in a dumpster.

During the investigation Gates and Rochester Police say they were able to link Blackman to a pair of other robberies. One took place less than an hour earlier, at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the M&T Bank on Lyell Avenue. The other took place around 3 p.m. Thursday at Key Bank on Mt. Hope Avenue.
