WEBSTER, N.Y. — Webster Police say an alleged burglar is in the hospital in critical condition after being shot by a homeowner during a break-in.
Police say at around 1:30 a.m. they were called to the 600 Block of Gravel Road for the report of a man who shot a burglar in his home. Police say they have identified the burglar, but are not releasing his name.
No charges have been filed and the investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call Webster Police.
