The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office confirms the remains found in a field by hunters in February are those of David Clyde Morgan.
In July 2018, Morgan ran from police after a traffic stop on Route 93 by the Geneseo Police Department, pointing a gun at officers.
Officers searched but couldn't find him until, months later, two hunters found his skeletal remains.
Morgan's girlfriend, Sandra Brown, was there that day and arrested.
She's currently serving a three-year sentence for her role in the incident.
