Nichole Crowder says she and her kids were getting out of the car when it happened.
"And next thing you know, we were just hanging out and I just felt the sharp pain and I fell forward and we didn't understand what happened," Crowder says.
At Crowder's house, you can see some of the paint is still left on the outside of her building. There was also paint left on the outside of her car.
In addition to the incident on Child Street, people on Lake Avenue were hit with paintballs. Nicole Mattice says the whole ordeal was scary.
"It makes you fearful to leave. Like, I also have a 2-year-old, so it's like, I feel I can't even walk out my house with him," says Mattice.
Police arrested four adults Tuesday night for allegedly shooting people with paintballs. It's not clear yet if those arrested were involved in the previous incidents. But Crowder and Mattice are happy to hear that arrests have been made.
"I hope this actually starts them not doing this anymore now that they are actually arresting people, you know, and handling it that way," says Mattice.
