The Rochester Police Department's new look is actually a nod to the past.

The RPD unveiled its new patrol car design on Tuesday. It's the first update in more than 25 years. 

The new wraps feature larger, reflective lettering while returning to the department's original colors of black, white and blue.

You'll start to see the new cars on the streets later this month.
