Police are investigating after a bullet hole was discovered at the Monroe County Republican Committee headquarters. 

The bullet struck an office window at the County GOP's State Street office.

Investigators say it may have happened while the office was unoccupied. GOP officials say they have no reason to believe the incident was politically motivated.

The Republican headquarters has hosted peaceful protests in the past. However, someone did throw a brick through the building's front door several years ago.
