A Wayne County man is dead following a crash Monday night.
The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. in front of the Mobil gas station on Route 104 in Sodus.
The sheriff's office says Gerard Montalvo, 22, of Sodus, was driving west when he crossed into the path of an eastbound vehicle. Montalvo was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner. The driver of the other vehicle was treated by crews at the scene and released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
