Monroe County Department of Planning & Development Director Ana Liss, who has made allegations of inappropriate behavior against Gov. Andrew Cuomo, is offering her support to the most recent of the governor's accusers.

Sherry Vill, of Greece, described an incident in which she says the governor gave her an unwanted kiss on her cheek during a visit to her home as part of a flood damage tour in 2017.

Liss, who previously worked in Cuomo's administration, tells Spectrum News that she supports Vill for coming forward to tell her story and says she plans to reach out to her.

Liss released this statement to Spectrum News on Tuesday.

“I applaud Sherry Vill, one of my Monroe County neighbors, for bravely coming forward with her allegations. I plan to reach out to her to express my support. Her story shows that the governor’s questionable behavior was not only reserved for staff, journalists, or fellow politicians, but to private citizens of New York State. We’re not living in the 1960s anymore. Time for our leaders to act like it.”

Liss and Vill are just two of the several women that have made claims of sexual harassment or inappropriate behavior against the governor.

Cuomo has repeatedly said he has never touched anyone inappropriately.

Rita Glavin, Attorney for Gov. Cuomo, responded to Vill's claims saying in part.

"During times of crisis, the Governor has frequently sought to comfort New Yorkers with hugs and kisses. As I have said before, the Governor has greeted both men and women with hugs, a kiss on the cheek, forehead or hand for the past forty years. I encourage everyone to look at other photographs from his visit to Greece, NY that day. Nothing described at today's press conference was unique in that regard.

Two investigations in to the allegations are currently taking place through the state attorney general and the Assembly Judiciary.
