ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester printing company involved in an election ballot mixup in New York City wants the public to know it has corrected the issue.

Phoenix Graphics says it sent out incorrect absentee ballots to hundreds of voters in Brooklyn because of a mechanical error in one of its inserting machines.

New ballots have now been sent to the voters who were affected.

Phoenix Graphics denies accusations that it favors one political party over the other and that it purposely mailed out incorrect ballots to harm the voter process.

The company issued a new statement saying in part:

"While only a small percentage of mailings were affected, any margin of failure is unacceptable and we promise to continue our exemplary service to our customers and the voters of the United States of America."
