CHURCHVILLE, N.Y. — Dogs, cats, arts and crafts will fill up the American Legion campus Saturday in Churchville for the GRASP Festival.

  • The GRASP Festival is June 8, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Legion Post 954 in Churchville

All kinds of homeless cuddly cuties are in need of new loving homes. The dedicated volunteers at GRASP, Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets, will have a dozen pets available for adoption at Saturday's festival at The American Legion Post 954 on Buffalo Rd. in Churchville.

The festival will also include 70 local craft and service vendors and, of course, food trucks.

"All of our volunteers do a lot in order to make this event as well as GRASP in general a success. Pulling together to have an event like this where we can have fun with the community while also helping to raise money for the animals in our care and that is how we get the word out about who we are and get maybe somebody adopted into a forever home over the course of the event. Every penny goes to help raise money for these little ones and here. This is what we do it for," said Abby Curatolo, GRASP volunteer. 

The GRASP Festival takes place on Saturday, June 8, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., rain or shine.
