Artists and makers from across Western New York will be selling their handmade products at the 6th Annual Spring Sip & Shop at Arbor at the Port in Charlotte.
It’s a Sunday funday shopping event that features all locally-made products. Forty-five crafters will be there.
Grace Bellanca started ROC Made Goods years ago to help her fellow entrepreneurs sell more. She’s ready to fill Arbor at the Port with their handmade home decor, art, pottery, natural, soaps, apparel, hand-poured candles, jewelry and lots of other goodies.
There will be a full bar, savory snacks, coffee and sweet treats. You can enjoy some bubbly beverages while you shop with a view.
“It is just amazing opportunity to shop local, especially right before Mother’s Day. We’re going to have a variety of artists here and it’s people in our community that are doing this as a labor of love and creating something that speaks to them,” said Bellanca. “Our spring event especially is geared toward mental health awareness. A lot of the participating vendors here, their craft ties into their mental health and how they kind of process their feelings through art therapy. It kind of shows through their offerings.”
There will be a gift raffle with 100% of the raffle proceeds going to NAMI Rochester in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. There is no admission fee to shop. It’s a family-friendly event.
The ROC Made Good “Spring Sip and Shop” is Sunday noon to 4 p.m. at Arbor at the Port, 1000 N. River St. in Charlotte.
