Winter break is ending with a "ROAR" for the kiddos. T-Rex, triceratops, spinosaurus and more are all in town this weekend.

What You Need To Know

  • Jurassic Quest features its world-famous, life-size dinosaurs that are painted and animated to be realer-than-real
  • Some of the animatronic dinosaurs are ridable
  • There is a fossil dig and dinosaur-themed bounce houses
  • The crafts table is free and open to all

Jurassic Quest is an interactive, life-like journey with the dinosaurs. The animatronic dinosaur adventure is at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center through Sunday.

You can pet the dinosaurs, ride them, dig for fossils and of course read and learn all about them.

“Families can explore 165 million years of dinosaurs," said Carolyn Baker, Jurassic Quest dino trainer. “The fun and awe of seeing dinosaurs up close and personal in their life-size stature just really inspires a lot of curiosity for the history of the Earth and all the different creatures that have walked the Earth and that will walk in the future. I think it’s neat to really observe all the changes. I was thinking about it today like dog breeds. The dinosaurs have commonalities and also family lineage from when the continents were still all fused together.”

Ticket prices range from $19-$36 and can be purchased online here.
