ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester’s Police Accountability Board is accepting applications for three vacancies on the board.

The PAB says two new spots will need to be filled after the departures of Rev. Matthew Nickoloff and Danielle Tucker-Rolle were announced during Thursday’s board meeting.

A third seat has been unfilled for more than seven months, the PAB says, past the 60-day deadline set by the City of Rochester’s charter.

“When council honored me by entrusting me as an inaugural board member, I never anticipated the remarkable journey we’ve shared,” Nickoloff wrote in a letter to the board. “…I am proud of the work we have done together to grow the fragile seed of hope into a functioning and flowering tree.”

“It has been a pleasure being a part of the Police Accountability board,” Tucker-Rolle wrote to the board. “I am so proud of all we have accomplished in the past 3 years, and I have no doubt the board will continue these successes in the future.”

Those interested in applying can select “Apply for the PAB” on the PAB Alliance’s website. You can also email your resume to council@cityofrochester.gov.
