FAIRPORT, N.Y. — Bills safety Damar Hamlin‘s survival story has justifiably inspired so many to give back in all kinds of ways that go way beyond Buffalo.

Hamlin's first question to doctors when coming out of a medically induced coma after his cardiac arrest during a Monday Night Football game in Cincinnati, has inspired and touched people everywhere. "Did We Win?" is now printed on a t-shirt in a fundraiser in honor of Hamlin.

“It seems to be popular with people,” said Rob Burch, co-founder of the Fairport Music Festival. “They really like it. And what looked like it was going to be a tragedy that happened on Monday night I think everybody was blown away by that. And then to find out the steps that occurred after it. A miracle or major miracle, however you want, and then he recovered quickly. And him coming out with the saying, I think just blew people away."

Fairport Music Festival organizers are selling the Hamlin-inspired t-shirts and donating all of the sale proceeds to the Cincinnati Medical Center where Hamlin was first treated.

“These orders are coming in and people are picking them up,” Burch said. “So I have their names on them and they can come scoop and score.”

Burch and the Fairport Music Festival team know all about giving back. The FMF has donated more than $2.3 million to the Golisano Children’s Hospital. This time around they wanted to do something in honor of Hamlin. So far they have sold more than 100 shirts. Some are being shipped as far away as Texas. Get them while you can.
