The Monroe County Department of Health will soon be offering monkeypox vaccinations for those deemed most at high risk.
Appointments are required and will be held across four days next week at two locations.
On Monday and Friday, the Monroe Community Immunization Clinic on Westfall Road will be open. And on Tuesday and Thursday, the Monroe County Sexual Health Clinic in Bullshead Plaza on West Main Street will be taking appointments.
The county health department says those legible are members of the LBGTQ community who are 18 years or older and have had close contact with anonymous partners the past two weeks.
If you have been close to someone who has monkeypox, the health department says they'll set up a separate appointment for you.
