GENESEO, N.Y. — Hundreds were in for a show at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo.

It was the museum’s 41st annual Geneseo Airshow.

Dozens of historic planes taking off this weekend include the Canadian Snowbirds and the F-22 Raptor.

The last time the museum hosted a military jet team was in 1992 with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds

This airshow is also a time for attendees to learn about different military aircraft.

A member of the Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar gave a little insight on the aircraft's history.

"This aircraft also has a distinction of having served in the United Nations operation back in about 1957 in Egypt,” C-119 Flying Boxcar member Robert Cox said. “For what was called the Suez Canal crisis."

You have one more chance to catch the airshow. Gates open at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
