GREECE, N.Y. - Greece police say the driver involved in a crash that killed two people on West Ridge Road Saturday night was driving while intoxicated.
Police arrested and charged Renee Alger, 52, of Hilton, with DWI after they say she hit a motorcycle with her SUV while making a left-hand turn onto the Route 390 north ramp.
Officials say the motorcycle driven by Trystan Sylvester, 23, of Greece, was traveling westbound on West Ridge Road before she was hit. Sylvester was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alger's husband, Charles Alger, 54, who was a passenger in the SUV was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries, officials said.
Renee Alger was also issued various traffic tickets and taken to the hospital. Greece police say the investigation is continuing with additional charges pending.
