A heat advisory is in effect as you start off your work week.
Expect hot and humid temperatures Monday that will make it feel like it's between 95 and 100 degrees.
The advisory runs from noon to 7 p.m. in Monroe, Orleans, Wayne and Livingston counties.
The National Weather Service says any strenuous activities outside could cause heat illness in these conditions, and encourages people to take breaks and stay hydrated.
