Rochester Police say a 16-year-old is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was shot in the area of Lark Street and Driving Park Avenue early this morning.

Greece Police initially responded to a call of a person shot at 1 a.m. on Falmouth Street in Greece. The victim was then immediately taken to the hospital. 

Rochester Police have now taken over the investigation after learning the victim was shot in the city, not in Greece. Officers tell us there are no suspects in custody as of now. 

The investigation is ongoing and anyone will information is asked to call 911.
