Jenny LePore is a mother of four who of course needs and loves to get the kids out for a hike whenever she can. She is also part of the Crescent Trail Hiking Association, a volunteer-run non-profit that plans, develops and maintains the trails with help from the town of Perinton.

"We moved to Perinton honestly because of the hiking trails," said LePore. "There are just so many opportunities to take the kids outdoors and let them run off some energy a little bit. You can go pretty much for an hour and a quick trip on the trails or you could be out here for an entire day if you really want to."

The Wegmans Hit the Trail Passport has all the trails mapped out for you, even the hiking time. To enter the passport contest, walk or hike at least ten trails and along the way, and locate and rub the trail markers to record your visit on your passport. And then you just drop off your completed passport to the Perinton Community Center.

There's plenty of time to enter to hike and win. The deadline is October 31. The grand prize is a $250 Wegmans gift card.

The free Hit the Trail Passport booklets can be picked up at the Perinton Wegmans, Fairport/East Rochester Wegmans or the Perinton Community Center.
