Data shows the earthquake was felt around 9 p.m. Thursday.
USGS recorded the earthquake as an intensity level 4, which means light shaking with no damage.
Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty issued a statement on Twitter, saying his office was fielding multiple calls about a loud noise and the ground shaking.
