Some Brockport students will have to move out of their residence hall after the school designated it as a quarantine and isolation building.

According to a letter sent to students and families, Harmon Hall residents will have to move out of their residence hall next Friday.

The school says after adapting its COVID-19 guidelines with guidance from SUNY and the CDC, the hall will be used as on-campus housing for students who tested positive for COVID-19.

The letter goes on to say the decision to isolate students on campus is not based on an outbreak or increases in cases.

According to the letter, students have to fill out a moving form and request new housing by Tuesday and will be allowed one guest to help them move.
