Powered by Play is available online. Sharing the game on social media unlocks more levels to play which promote and raise money for the museum's expansion.

"We are really creating a brand new neighborhood: the Neighborhood of Play. It's been many years in the making, started when the city first announced that they were looking to fill in that section of the Inner Loop,” said the museum’s president and CEO, Steve Dubnik.

The new neighborhood will have an expanded museum with a nearby hotel and mixed use buildings. The museum breaks ground on phase two next year for a new atrium and outdoor play garden.
