A man has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Mendon. 

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said a tractor-trailer and SUV collided around 10:45 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Fords Crossing and Route 64.

The 70-year-old SUV driver, of Mendon, was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital. The 58-year-old tractor driver was not hurt. 

The cause of the crash still remains under investigation, but alcohol and drugs are not considered factors at this time.
