Hip-hop mogul Swizz Beatz revealed more this week about his plan to turn an old Macedon factory into an international learning center for the arts.

He spoke about his vision for "Creative Land" in a NYC radio interview Tuesday.

Beatz and his wife, music superstar Alicia Keys signed a deal to purchase the former Exxon Mobil chemical plant on Route 31 in Macedon and turn it into a music school and performance destination.

"Right now I'm just focusing on building my own brands: Dean Collection, Smart Collection, which is the app, and Creative Land—which is this campus that’s 110 acres where creatives can actually go and get educated and actually do the things they love to do," Beatz told Power 105.1 Breakfast Club. "Like, even the classes are going to be two week classes, not three years and all these different things."

Macedon officials are still reviewing the plan.
