Rochester police are investigating a homicide on the city's northwest side.
It happened on Backus Street around 11 p.m. Monday.
Police located Salim Flowers, 43, who had been shot at least once. He was taken to a nearby hospital but later died.
No arrests have been made.
The shooting marks the second homicide this week.
