Former Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio will officially appear on the ballot.

Astacio is running for a seat on Rochester's City Council. She posted on Facebook that she has enough valid signatures on her petition to run for the council's northwest district seat.

The valididity of some of Astacio's signatures were challenged last week in paperwork filed at the Monroe County Board of Elections. Enough of those signatures were deemed valid.

Astacio was removed from the bench stemming from a drunk driving arrest back in 2016. She remains on probation for that charge.
