Before the age of Bills Mafia, another squad was in charge of getting the team and fans pumped up.
The Buffalo Jills have a long history with the team. Despite not taking the field in a number of years after a lawsuit over pay, the cheerleaders have stood and supported the team.
Spectrum News spoke to two former Buffalo Jills, Terry Battaglia and Genevieve Sullivan.
Battaglia recently saw a story Spectrum News covered on Minuteman Press, a business struggling due to the pandemic that started to make Billieve signs.
She contacted the owner and decided to order Buffalo Jills signs.
"You're connected to the highs, the lows, the successes, the sometimes setbacks, but this has just been a great time and when I reached out to Genevieve, I said 'hey, let's put our heads together, I think we can make this happen,' and it just brings a lot of people together and making them happy," said Battaglia.
"You know the intensity is up right now. It feels like they are so close to that big win and that finish line. I think that there's even more people that maybe weren't maybe a die-hard bills fan that are coming out of the woodwork now and everybody's just really rallying," said Sullivan.
The Buffalo Jills, along will the rest of Bills Mafia from across the globe, will all be rooting for a Bills win when they take on the Ravens Saturday night.
