McQuaid rallied to beat Lancaster 32-28 in the Class AA Far West Regional and earn the programs first NYS Final Four berth.

Andrew Passero scored a touchdown with 5:34 as McQuaid rallied from 28-17 down for the win. The Knights advance to the semifinals where they'll face Cicero-North Syracuse. The Northstars are hosting all five NYS West Semifinals.

Passero earned MVP honors. Knights' quarterback Joe Cairns scored on a third quarter sneak to cut the lead to 28-24. McQuaid's defense shut the Legends out in the fourth quarter to set up Passero's heroics.

In the other Far West Regionals on Saturday, Maritime topped Livonia in Class B, 40-29 and Southwestern scored a 54-8 win over Letchworth/Warsaw in Class C.
