Aquinas senior quarterback Tyler Szalkowski signed his letter of intent to play football at the University at Albany.

Szalkowski led the Li'l Irish to the 2018 New York State title as a sophomore. He got offers from Lafayette and Albany but chose the Great Danes, largely because of their offensive scheme and some teammates are playing or have recently played there.

He likes the possibilities of playing there for undergrad or even as a grad student if he redshirts his freshman year.

"First off, I wanna win a National Championship when I get there, the first year that I get a chance to play, that's win a National Championship," he said at the Speed Factory, where he has been able to workout while waiting for clearance for high school football to begin in March.
