Victor faces Canandaigua for the second time this season, but the Braves might not recognize their rivals.
The Blue Devils have six starters injured, including seniors Camden Hay and Joey Pezzimenti. Despite the injuries, the team has won five of their last six games.
"Our coaching staff did a great job of making sure that we were always prepared and ready for whoever was out there and that was really what they kind of preached to us. Whoever was out there was going to be one of our best eleven guys to help us get the job done and everybody that has stepped up this season has done an awesome job," says quarterback James Knapp.
The Blue Devils defeated Canandaigua in the season-opening Teddi Bowl, 31-14, with Pezzimenti and RuShawn Baker sharing the load in the backfield. Baker has taken over as the primary back since Pezzimenti suffered a dislocated knee cap in Victor's only loss of the season against Spencerport.
