Oxygen chamber therapy, sworn by among famous athletes like LeBron James and even pop stars like Madonna and Justin Bieber, is here in Rochester at Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy of Western New York, located on North Goodman Street.

Treatments consist of 60 minutes of concentrated oxygen infused into your body. The chamber has a mattress with pillows and blankets and many people fall sleep or meditate during the process.

"One of our missions is to get hyperbaric therapy to the average person so you can come in and get evaluated by a doctor and come in with a prescription from your doctor and be able to subjectively say, 'okay, this is something I want to do,'" said Craig Danehy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy of Western New York. "There’s a huge population of people who are just looking for more choices for better quality of life."

Session prices start at $30.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy of Western New York is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
