The Greece Central School District will adopt a hybrid model for the coming fall semester.
The announcement was made Wednesday, as the due date for submitting re-opening plans to the state draws closer.
Greece officials announced the hybrid plan will have four groups of students:
- The first two groups will have in-person instruction two out of the five days
- The third group includes some special education students who may require more in-person instruction and will learn remotely one day a week
- The fourth group includes students who will be remote all five days of the week
Wednesdays will be entirely remote, so that the district can deep-clean facilities
The district will announce which students are placed in groups 1, 2, and 3 on July 31.
The plans are subject to approval from the state.
