Homeowners in Brighton might see an increase in their school taxes next year.

The district is proposing a 5 percent increase for next year's budget. 

District officials says the proposition would provide more than $80 million to pay its bills. 

This would be a four and a half percent increase compared to the 2018-2019 budget.

Brighton taxpayers can vote on the new budget on the 21st at Brighton High School.
