A few local elections are still hanging on absentee ballot counts.

The ballots will be moved to the Monroe County Board of Elections ballot-counting site on Brighton Henrietta Townline Road on Friday. Elections staff will open them and count them Monday. 

The outcome of the counts could settle some close Monroe County races, including a couple that will impact the balance of power in the county legislature.

Those results could be available Monday night.
