The teenage girl accused of killing her mother, Ottilia Piros of Greece, will be extradited to New York.
Hannah Thomas, 17, was in a Missouri court on Tuesday where she signed a waiver of extradition, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.
Police say Thomas and her boyfriend, Richard Avila, 16, were taken into custody after being pulled over in the victim's car in Missouri on December 29.
Authorities tell Spectrum News the two are charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection to the death of Piros.
