Two more arrests have been made in connection to the Rochester riots in late-May.

Shakell Sanks, 26, and Javon Hardy, 24, both of Rochester, have been charged with federal arson.

U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced on Wednesday that at around 6 p.m. on May 30, Sanks, along with others, allegedly stuffed a lit fabric into a parked car belonging to the City of Rochester Family Crisis Intervention Team (FACIT). The car erupted in flames and was a total loss.

A mobile office/construction trailer was also set on fire on May 30, and Facebook Live footage allegedly shows Hardy walking down the steps of the trailer and yelling “Let that (expletive) burn,” and “If it’s not on fire, I didn’t do my job.”

Both Sanks and Hardy face a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum of 20 years, and a $250,000 fine.

Another man, Mackenzie Drechsler, 19, of Ontario, was previously arrested and charged with arson of the FACIT car.

Marquis Frasier, 27, of Rochester, was previously charged with arson for allegedly helping to set the trailer on fire.
